    How to access Voters' lists?

    • Electoral Rolls are available to all citizens
      • MROs offices
      • Municipal offices in twin cities
    • They can be purchased for a price at 0-95Ps / page orRs.1.35Ps / a sheet of 2 pages

        How to add or delete names

        Simple applications :

        • Form 6 : Addition
        • Form 7 : Objections to a name & deletion
        • Form 8B : Deletion
        • Form 8 : Corrections
        • Form 8A : Change of polling booth
        • Form 6 - voter should apply
        • Forms 7 & 8B - Any other voter can apply
      • Additions / deletions / changes
        • Application in duplicate to MRO (Municipal officials at Hyderabad
        • Receipt given to applicant - No fee
        • Application published by MRO. (On Notice Board)
        • 7 days notice for objections, if any
        • Summary enquiry & decision
        • Decision communicated to applicant

              Logistics :

        • Procedure - Election Watch Manual is ready
        • Electoral rolls is supplied by Lok Satta
        • Application forms is being amended by Election Commission
        • Will be supplied to volunteers by Lok Satta
        • Small numbers can be obtained from MRO
      • What does Lok Satta offer :­
        • Verification is by local citizen's groups
        • Election Watch will facilitate verification and revision
        • Make available electoral rolls
        • Campaign to promote awareness
        • Spread of knowledge through manual
        • Training and orientation of citizen's groups / volunteers
        • Supply statutory forms
        • Help citizens file applications
        • Monitor follow up and ensure additions and deletions
        • Identify teams a polling booth level for monitoring
        • Coordinate with election officials and dovetail with special revision undertaken by Election Commission
      • Volunteers
        • Each Constituency on an average consisting of 200 Polling booths
        • 100 Volunteers an on average consisting of 20 teams of 5 each
        • Team will cover 10 Polling booths consisting of 3 - 5 Villages
        • Team will consists of College Students ,Women Associations, Youth Associations, Concerned Citizens, Consumer groups
        • Team is formed from Local People
      • Time to be Spared
        • One day per 2 Polling booths
        • 5 days over 3 - 4 months
