• Higher judiciary appointments and removal: Judicial Commission with powers of appointment and removal. Repeal of Article 124(4) and 217(1)(b) relating to impeachment.
• Focused writ jurisdiction: Writ to be limited to life, liberty and equality before law.
• Limited appeals to higher courts: only constitutional matters to be heard by high courts and supreme courts.
• Timely justice: guaranteed right to time bound justice.
• Increase in the number of courts, from the current level of 11 per million population
  ( as compared to about 100 per million in mature democracies)
• Rural courts for speedy justice with specific and exclusive jurisdiction.
• Separation of crime investigation: Independent prosecutors under quasi-judicial supervision.
• Improving competence, integrity and uniformity in subordinate judiciary and improve quality of appointees to high courts: Creation of an Indian Judicial Service as a new All India Service.
