2001, the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Small Industries
Associations (FAPSIA) sought the support of LOK SATTA in
their fight against corruption. LOK SATTA vigorously supported
their fight and because of its support FAPSIA could achieve
Chief Commissioner of Central Excise was compelled to negotiate
with FAPSIA and an agreement was signed consenting to jointly
evolving procedures for simplification with four objectives:
SATTA has been in the forefront of this movement of FAPSIA
for fairness and transparency in revenue collections. This
is the first movement of its kind by entrepreneurs across
a major State after independence. Follow-up efforts to precisely
identify the procedural improvement are now underway.

and good governance but it is an economic necessity for
survival of enterprises.
